Unless you are wealthy, you probably have not spent much time voluntarily being employed. How do you pay your bills? How do you take care of your family? What do you tell people, do you tell people that you are unemployed? How do you live day-to-day?

The purpose of this forum is to discuss the various survival techniques members have used to get through periods of unemployment. While you may not have thought about it before, there are many things you can do to stretch your available cash. This forum will hopefully become a repository of information from other members that have survived unemployment for long periods of time..
