Weight control is an issue that many of us must deal with. Now that we don't have to go to work every day, we will be getting even less exercise than we did before. The purpose of this forum is to discuss any issues pertaining to weight control that are not covered by the physical fitness or the wellness forum. For example, if you're considering trying a particular diet; or considering some other method of losing weight; use this forum to post questions about it. If you have experience with an issue, please share your experiences here.

If you have successfully lost weight please tell us how you did it. Where this form will differ from other forums on the Internet is that there are other factors involved when you are unemployed. The very feeling of helplessness that comes with being laid off may lead you to eat more than you normally would. Plus, since you are home all day you will have access to whatever snacks you keep in your house.

Hopefully, with the knowledge and experience of other members, you will be able to develop a routine to acheive your goal of either maintaining or losing weight.
