I just had a conversation with my auto finance company. Turns out that you can add months onto your loan and skip a few payments. I am an optimist and expect things to be better in the future. Either way, I am "cash poor" right now and delaying my $500 car payment for the next few months will help greatly with my cash crunch.

If you are in the same situation, call your finance company and see if they will allow you to delay your payment.

I tried it with my mortgage company. No dice. Well, the guy in India told me that they can review terms with the invester (what ever that means). The last thing I want to do is bring attention to myself so I am going to pass. Honda said they can "do something" as long as my account is current. I'll find out more next week.

Thanks for the tip!
