Yesterday morning was spent attending the unemployment orientation...very interesting BUT also very boring!  I just smiled my way through it.  I noticed many more computer work stations available for use to those looking for work; the workshop attendance was full and I watched some being turned away so one would want to arrive early to make sure they can attend - first come first served thing.  Most of the jobs available through the unemployment office were at minimum wage or slightly above it...I haven't had a job at minimum wage since high school!

After the unemployment orientation I responded to the job boards.  I haven't gotten any response so far to anything I've sent my resume over for.  I sent out personal emails to all contacts made via my sales efforts in the past with my resume attached.  Today I am actually going to blitz some business parks with a "walk-in" approach and resume in hand.
